The Untold Clay book signing a huge success

“WOW!” That’s how Clay County Historical Society President Mike White described their book signing event Friday.

An overflow crowd attended the unveiling of the society’s book set, “Untold Clay,” a four-volume reflection by author Gary Burns on some of the county’s unknown characters.

White says he can’t thank those supporting the society enough.

“Friday was a great success,” White said.  “The Untold Clay Series was flying off the shelves! Thanks to everyone for your support. And thanks to author and historian Gary Burns for his excellent work. He certainly captured the spirit of the Untold, Unknown, and Unbelievable characters of Clay County! “

The four-book set can be purchased at the historical society (Thursdays and Fridays; 9-3) and in our online store at www.clayfamilies.org. The set (more than 500 pages) is housed in a handsome slipcover and is available for $59.95 (+ tax and s/h). Autographed copies are available.
