Celia Mills

Celia Mills, 85, of London, KY, passed away Friday, September 27th, at her home.

Celia was born in Manchester, KY on March 3, 1939, a daughter of the late Cassie and George Lawson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Orville Mills.

Celia is survived by her son, Jackie Mills and wife Mary of Manchester.

She is also survived by her brother, Clay Lawson of Manchester; her grandchildren: Jackie Mills, Jr. and wife Mereckia, Daniel Preston Mills, Cecil Joseph Mills, Orville Matthew Mills, and Angela Holly Hicks; her great-grandchildren: Magdalina Mills, MaKenna Mills, Selina Jacklin Mills, and Lily Danelle Mills; and by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Celia was preceded in death by her son, Danny Mills; and by several brothers and one sister.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 2nd at the Whites Branch Holiness Church in Manchester, with Roger Hayre, Oakley Vaughn, and Roger Miller officiating. Burial will follow at the Mills Cemetery in London.

Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 1st at the Whites Branch Holiness Church.
