Eugene Spurlock

Eugene Spurlock, age 85 passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Landmark of Laurel Creek. He was born on Friday, October 21, 1938 in Oneida, Kentucky to Millard and Annie Davidson Spurlock. He was retired from General Motors and a veteran of the United States Army.

He leaves to mourn his passing his son: Ronald Spurlock and Marie, his daughters: Kimberly Ann Spurlock and Cheryl Jean Smith, 9 grandchildren: Holli Vilseck and Jamie, Benjamin Fitzgerrel and Melanie, Bethany Smith and Nick Hill, Cassandra Smith, Pamela Weiss and Lucas, Jessica Alcorn and Nathan, Emma Spurlock, Chase Peace and Lily Peace, 7 great grandchildren: Stella dyer, Abel Clark, Violet Alcorn, Gavin Fitzgerrel, Mackenzie Fitzgerrel, Bryson Hill and David Vilseck as well as his brother: Hugh Spurlock and his wife Geraldine and his sister: Violet Logston and her husband Randall.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Millard and Annie Spurlock.

Funeral Services for Eugene Spurlock will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Thomas Bishop will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Spurlock Cemetery in the Laurel Branch Community.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday after 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
